Berta
I couldnt copy and paste the part I mean- what "pre trauma" risk factors were prior to the 'incident'?
doogie
If there is more to this it would help if we could read the whole thing. There are some troublesome areas in this opinion. The examiner is applying the new PTSD rules to this claim. It seems he/she questioned how the "incident" was not related to fear of hostile activity etc etc--- Can you prove your stressor? Sometimes I wonder how many combat Vietnam vets would be able to succeed under the new rules. What might be a stressor for some of them was just part of the regular combat for others. PTSD stressors can be highly personal reactions due to numerous causes-and I hardly ever have seen in the past-any Nam vet focus on the fear factor of combat because that was a given. If there is more please let us know- I got the impression the PTSD diagnosis was there but not due to a service 'incident' you claimed.
