Background:

Carrie grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Political Science and participated in

the Semester at Sea Program in the summer of 2000.

While in law school, she served as an attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic and also worked for the Innocence Project of the National Capital Area.

Prior to joining Bergmann & Moore in 2007, Carrie worked as a litigator for a small law firm in Pittsburgh where she also volunteered her time

as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for several foster children in the family court system.

In April 2010, she was awarded an Outstanding Volunteer of the Year award from the Homeless Persons Representation Project

for her work training pro bono attorneys to represent Veterans before VA.

Carlie passed away in November 2015 she is missed.
