On Mar 18th, I had an eye exam appointment at the Perry GA Outreach Clinic. Since I am eligible due to A & A pension I filled out and submitted a Request for Travel Pay. The Perry Clinic mails all claims to Carl Vinson VAMC in Dublin GA. As of today this was a month ago.
I called Carl Vinson to inquire about the check which I have not received. Found out that the paperwork FROM A MONTH AGO had NOT been processed - no explanation, no apology - just "we pulled your claim out of the stack for processing - you should get your check within 30 days"! Only TWO months after the eye exam appointment ! Our wonderful government at work....
