Should I feel bad about getting discounts and applying forprograms?

I’m in my earlier 30’s and if you look at me you may notthink that I have a disability. I am a mom of 2 and I am now rated at 60% andeven when my payments start coming. Funds will still be very tight and we needall the monies we can get. I see that I may be entitled to discounts very similarto seniors or people that have visible physical disabilities. Should I feel badfor taken them?

Texas allows Texas Veteran Disabled Plates to use Handicap and Veterans who are 60% or more can get the plates. 20 years ago I rarely used disabled parking although I had a placard. Today I use it a lot. I found out that the more I walk the sooner I give out and less I am able to do. I have a rollator I use when I am not at home or a shopping basket is same as rollator for me.

Just cause you have the plates does not mean that you need to use them but its really up to you. As far as I am concerned if you have Texas Disability Plates you earned the privilege.

What aggravates me is the stores that put handicapped farther away than regular parking. I also pass any store that parking lot is full. Oh yeah and what about the people who park on the hash marks between disabled parking?

So many disabilities are invisible - ignorance is the biggest disability of them all.
