Question

This is my first time posting on this sight so if I'm doing it wrong just let me know.

I am in need of a little insight and guidence. My claim for TDIU was submitted in on October 6, 2010 to the Pittsburgh RO. (16-1/2 months and counting) As of September 23, 2011 it has been with the rating activity. At my Comp exam for TDIU the doctor stated that my PTSD, Shoulder dislocations, and Buldging disks are "At least as likely as not render him unable to secure and maintain gainful employment." Has anyone had similar wording or anything they can tell me about the outcome of such wording? Also is almost 17 months normal for TDIU claims in Pittsburgh?

PTSD- 50%

Right shoulder dislocations- 20%

L4-L5, L5-S1 - Buldging disks- 10%

Neurologic involvement lefter lower extremity- 10%

Hiatel hernia- 10%

70% Total

I'm not familiar with the "the blue sheet". What exactly does this consist of?

Coot

To my knowledge it is or was an internal VA codesheet.

Somehow someone didn't notice and sent me copies.

Providing Copies of the Rating Decision

7-A-4

b. Printing the Rating Decision

Print the rating decision as listed below.

  • Print the signed file copy of rating decisions on blue paper, except as specifically provided for overprint rating decisions.
  • Print the decision on both sides of the paper, called duplex printing, provided that the reverse side is printed head to foot, that is, the short edge as opposed to the long edge.

Note: Copies of rating decisions do not have to be on blue paper.

e. Distributing the Narrative Portion of the Rating Decision

Copy and send the narrative portion of the rating decision to the claimant with notification of the decision.

f. Distributing the Codesheet

The codesheet of the rating decision is intended for internal processing and not routinely distributed to the claimant.

That's funny! Did it state anything other than what was written on your decision letter?..Like something between the raters and not for your eyes to see..lol

Well, not necessarily just between "the raters" but anyone that had access to either OR BOTH my c-file

and my VAMC file.

Some of the parts of my c-file they DID NOT want to provide me copies of were

a decision makers request for an additional C&P that stated the veteran appears to have

some psychogenic components in relation to her continuous claims for physical injuries.

(((psychogenic

[sī′kōjen′ik]

Etymology: Gk, psyche + genein, to produce

1 originating within the mind.

2 referring to any physical symptom, disease process, or emotional state that is of psychologic rather than physical origin. Also called psychogenetic. See also psychosomatic.))))

Another thing they DID NOT want to provide a copy of was a form completed by a decision maker that stated

It is of record that the veteran has stalked in waiting, a VAMC ENT MD, with a loaded weapon, on VAMC Federal Property.

This was during a time when I filed a FTC against the Feds for this same ENT azz physically, sexually assaulting me

at the VAMC and several and local newspaper articles had been published with the ENT calling me a liar -

this was settled through Court Ordered Mediation, with an undisclosed sum paid to me - the jerk loosing his medical

license and any further employment in any capacity with the VA.

For some reason the VAMC maintained a full copy of the FTC and mediation agreement through the Court

in my VAMC medical file. Another huge fiasco to get this removed

The Decision Phase is completed on most claims onaverage in 70 days. Your claim’s Decision Phase began April 24, 2012. The length of time it takes to complete the Decision Phase depends on several factors, such as the type of claim filed, the number of disabilities you claimed, and VA’s pending workload. A claim may take longer in this phase based on the specifics of your claim.

Your claim file was sent to St Louis Regional Office for completion. Thank you for contacting us. If you have questions or need additional help with the information in our reply, please respond to this message or see our other contact information below.

Sincerely yours,

Does anyone one have any input on this change of events?

How is the St. Louis RO on getting claims through in a timely matter?

Does sending my claim from Pittsburgh RO to St. Louis mean bad things or are they actually trying to decide this claim?
