I did not know that the VA differentiates between reservists and active duty when you are disabled. The VA doesn't.

I checked the link, and the link within the link and ended up at www.govtrack.us . The text of H.R. 4177 is very brief, but there is nothing to do with the Department of Veterans Affairs but rather with the military services themselves. HR4177 appears to deal with determining the number of creditable years allowed for activated reservists who are injured in battle, receive the Purple Heart, and receive a permanent or TDRL retirement because of that injury.

I did not know that the VA differentiates between reservists and active duty when you are disabled.
