15 Months And Still "gathering Evidence"

Rate this question

Question

This is outrageous, who can I talk to to speed things up? I mean I understand their case load but really 15 months and still in the "gathering evidence" stage. I've went to all my meetings, been repeatedly told I have problems, now I just need help. Why does the VA do this? I wish the presidential elections would focus on this for just one second! AHHH so mad

I know retro is supposed to go from the date filed, however on ebennies it shows from Dec 2013 which is way wrong. My service rep said it will go from the date filed which is over 32 months ago. Any ideas, or just wait for the letter in the mail

'Dec 2013' isn't here yet - please clarify.

Thanks

When SC is granted and comp is awarded, it should be from the date the claim was filed,

that is of course barring staged ratings.

Just wait until you get the letter or if VA has your banking direct deposit info,

then check your bank account for a deposit you don't usually get.

Dec 2013 is way off as that date is not here yet.

Sorry I meant Dec 2012. I checked the VA site and Dec 2012 was when the new comp rates took effect so I think that is why it says that month.

I guess I'm just ready for this to come to a close and everything get finalized.
