I was finally awarded 30% for PTSD on 09/11/12 after 2 years! This is a win for me! I also have a number of other claims that have been deferred and are in the Review of Evidence Phase. I will certainly search past postings to help prepare my NOD.

Reader19 - congrats but check the ratings and see if you feel you rate only 30%. The VA frequently lowballs claimants! jmo

Congrats Reader19 I agree with Phillip Rogers the VA always tends to lowball rating on first go around

Since the VA has already DX'ed you with PTSD all you need to do now is show by medical evidence that your PTSD is worse than a 30% rating. Best way to do that is with an IMO/IME.
