mlriffraff Posted December 13, 2012 Share Posted December 13, 2012 The system actually works I submitted a quick start claim in June 12. Three of the conditions submitted were for heart problems. In Oct I learned that one condition became worse and was going to require open heart surgery with a valve repair. By coincidence my C&P exam was scheduled the day before surgery Nov 29. I contacted the VA several times via email to ask if the claim could be expedited since if the heart condition is service connected it would be 100% for 3 to 6 monts. I went to the C&P exam with full documentation of pre op tests proof of surgery and proof of having to be home for 3 months.
