dongtam Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 I just received a retro on my IHD from 06/10 back to 02/2005. The V A originally rated it at 10% increased to 60% 06/10 but finally convinced that a nuclear test in 05 is not as accurate as a Ultra sound . My MI in 1990 left me with an Ejection fraction of less than 50. I didn"t file until 05. All this was due to private medical opinion. With my 50% PTSD and a couple 10% I am getting closer to the end. Good thing Rick Spataro (Head Nehmer lawyer at NVLSP) has been my long time buddy as he reminded me in 2010 when new AO regs came out , that my husband's IHD would fall under the older IHD ratings criteria in 1988 and then for next 6 years. They awarded SC IHD but didnt award 1151 IHD.....I am keeping that idea for the future.....there is no deadline on filing 1151 claims. I filed a new one a few months ago for misdiagnosed HBP. Sent the all med evidence...they could award it in a heartbeat.....it would cover my airfare to Vietnam. I hope however they award it within a ..........decade.
