Question

Today recieved my first Agent Orange Review for information for veterans WHO served in Vietnam. Vol.26 No. 1

This must be the new magazine to let us know about AO. I bet only the vietnam and Korea veteran's that recieve this are the one that file for compensation.

Not the ones that are dying and don't know.

I would think Berta wrote most of it, or they copied it from her!ph34r.png

Good article on Korea Veterans.

I guess it is a start dry.png

I'm wondering if this is a document that the VA supposedly put out on a quarterly basis for years, and seemingly never did so.

(Or, sent copies to a very small number of A/O veterans that were on the VA's books.)

Volume 26 implies that there were 26 years of publication, or is totally misleading.

(I've had an A/O SC'd "presumptive condition" since a 2005 EDD, and have actually had exactly two copies that I obtained from a VAMC.

After all, the more veterans know, the more likely is that they will file additional claims.

It looks to be a yearly, because Vol 26 No.1 Winter 2012

I think i saw something about next issue was Winter 2013.

It comment: This is the 49th Agent Orange Review that VA has published. This issue was completed in winter 2012 and does not include developments that occurred after that time. For past issues of the newletter and other information, please visit our website at

About 655,000 RVN vets have done the exam and got on the registry. I found out that ALS for any vet is SC'ed. This is one SC you don't want. Also, Parkinson,s disease is presumptive. I often wonder why skin cancer is not presumptive for RVN vets since most received sunburns and severe sun exposure during their tour.

I wonder how I could go about getting a copy of this issue. We used to get updates a long time ago. It seems like after we started filing claims, we quit getting any copies. I think that they did not want people to be informed.

Now, I see they are looking at chronic lung disease among Vietnam Veterans. That sure would include David.

High blood pressure is also being considered as presumptive. How long is this going to take. I sure can't wait 20 years for presumption. I wonder how the IOM pick control groups for their studies? They use statistics so they need some group to compare RVN vets to their control group. The VA does not do their own studies for AO. When the very last RVN vet is on his/her death bed the IOM/VA will decide that AO is the cause of all RVN vet's deaths.
