Welcome to Hadit. I can't tell what you're looking for??? If you are having psychiatric issues or physical problems, due to your VN service, you should file a claim(s) w/the VA. You could also contact a Vet Center for counseling and guidance. jmo

According to the C&P exam, the examiner marked the box for a 30% rating. Now the rater will compare that to the records in your file to determine a percentage. Sometimes they just go with the examiner and sometimes they come up with a different percentage based on the records in your file.

You have the diagnosis of PTSD. The stressor is conceded. And they gave you the Nexus statement. Looks pretty good for you!

This link explains a little more about how PTSD claims are rated. http://www.vva.org/ptsd_levels.html

Welcome to hadit. I was in the Navy around the same time as you were. I was on Saratoga and Ranger

There is only a combined mental illness of one rating. I can tell you have been reading hadit for a little while. Just keep reading.

Most likely you will be denied many times in SOC and SSOC denials. Don't let that get you down and stick with us.

You must remain poractive in your claims. Get your own records if possible and send these records in yourself. Good luck buddy.
