snowboarder
I am not afraid of the man. I am afraid of your brain cells shrinking and glassy eyed folks driving around the world like they are lost. There is a reason it is illeagal and those states that passed it will get reversed real soon. I have seen what this stuff does to people. This is just the start of a more serious issue. J The exact opposite is true J... when you are stressed out endocannabionids are what protect your braincells from atrophying however repeated stress (TBI, PTSD etc), breaks endocannabinoid signaling in the body. Our bodies have cannabinoid receptors that are excited when we exercise which releases endocannabinoids (runners high), which is what reduces body temperature, reduces inflammation and heals muscles etc. etc "The Endocannabinoid System (ECS)" is a crucial system in the body that even involves immune system regulation.. but is being ignored because of ($$) the regulation of cannabinoids being class 1... cannabinoids are just lipids ... aka "fats" from a plant. The only "lipid" in cannabis that gets a person high is THC, which is a cannabinoid that has developed a defense mechanism to help protect the plant and human cells from many different problems we face such as overdose, cancer, etc. Cannabinoid receptors have an affinity for certain fats, and get excited more by THC to the point where it causes a similar biological response as runners high, only that THC is able to stick to the receptor longer allowing the body to produce more endocannabinoids. The benefit to cannabis over exercising, is your body doesn't have to recover and repair muscles after an exercise, because it "IS" the runners high that heals you. Cannabis seems to protects us down to a DNA and cellular level. researchecs.com/simple_layout.pdf https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4UlJuQUlwcXJDNUk/edit http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10869379 https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4Qy10a3ZDSlk3MjA/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4eEN0UFk3ckxBbUk/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4Z1pZM3E0aDVWeUk/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4R0JFd0pNNXhlLTQ/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4T182dEVGS0prYWM/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4SmdTcGhWcWRHUm8/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4Y3dHWEE0WXhpcGc/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4cUZBZnhidVF0R0k/edit https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7U366sVg-U4ZEFNUUJpOFJONVE/edit researchecs.com/CECD3.pdf Edited April 29, 2015 by snowboarder
Founder Tbird Posted April 29, 2015 Founder Share Posted April 29, 2015 I'm closing this topic. Enough links have been posted and discussed. Where I stand is I will vote to legalize for medical use. There are plenty of other sites on the web for the sole purpose of advocating for or against it.
