I don't remember if i posted this or not I have CRS can't remember sh$t. So here goes both my daughter and step daughter got a free ride in college thru the state of VA. Virginia has a program if you ate 90 percent disabled and served in a war they will pay for all classes and fees for any Virginia public college. It also is good for a spouse.

That is unreal. I wish all the other states would follow Virginia's lead.

The only part of the program I do not like is you have to have served in a war. Someone who never deployed but got hurt in a training accident does not qualify. The also pay 900 a year for books

Jim,

I am a war veteran but I have to agree with you. If you have a disability as a result of your military service, it should not matter whether you served in a war or did not serve in a war.
