Mikemmlj
Next week I start getting treated for several conditions that are secondary to PTSD by my PCP. I'm 100% but not P+T, would you file for secondary service connection if you were in my place?
0 HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted September 18, 2014 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 18, 2014 Yes you should. You could even qualify for a SMC if the rating is high enough. Jbasser A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

0 georgiapapa
Mike, You will find some on this website who will warn you that you risk a reduction in your current rating if you file new claims and some will tell you to file for all conditions which you believe are service connected regardless of your current rating. This is a personal decision you have to make. Good luck to you.
