asheth007
I was surprised as I was told claims can take a long time etc. I am new to the VA system medically retired 4 months ago. Raised my rating to 80% combined. The claim was for sleep apnea and the study was done prior to me getting out but not apart of my initial med board process. Just sharing this experience with FDC and my apnea claim. I suspect it takes longer once I have been out of the military for a full year.

HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted October 10, 2014 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 10, 2014 There is a new treatment for OSA from Inspire Medical. I had it done and am still healing, but will soon be able to give feedback on success or failure. I have three implanted devices in my body to treat the OSA with hand held device I turn on and off at will. This is the new direction for OSA to be done with the mask and Cpap which has only 50% success rate over time. ctbenja1015
