Claim Does Not Show Up In Ebenifits

A couple weeks ago I submitted a claim to the VA via Certified Mail Return Receipt. I got the Certified green card back showing the VA received the claim. I have never received a letter from VA acknowledging receipt of my claim and the claim does not appear in EBenifits. My question is who at the VA do I send an inquiry as to why I did not receive a VA letter of acknowledgement and why my claim is not shown in EBenifits?

Its not an automatic process, that Ebenefits updates. Keep the green card. Ebenefits will eventually show the records as they get scanned in there.

If it was mailed, it could take awhile. Mine took about 2 months. Also received a letter acknowledging claim received about 2 months after mailing.

I have one I filed in May that hasn't showed yet. I worry but there isn't really anyone to call. I've called the land line and they have no record and say to wait.

That green card is the start of a paper trail that needs to continue throughout your claim.
