Will Percentage Change Affect My Voc Rehab Status?

I just received word that my 5 year old appeal had been moved to a decision phase. I am in school now through voc rehab and wonder if my rating increases would it change the way they view me at voc rehab?

It shouldn't, unless they reduce you to less than 30%. In fact, VocRehab probably won't even know about it unless you tell them!

i agree. it shouldn't change at all. if you have dependents and they are now added or lessens than yes it will decrease or increase.

The only way it should change is if you change employment status or some Doc says you are better and than you should get the benefit of a hearing if you don't agree. It has been my experience that nothing changes with VA unless you initiate a request for change

Cool, I was scared if it were raised to 100% they might refuse to pay for my schooling.

i hope that you are not trying to get tdiu. think about it. voc rehab is paying for your school to get employment. if you are 100 percent not employable because of social security or tdiu then what would you be using voc rehab for. why would they pay you

Being 100% doesn't disqualify you from receiving Voc Rehab. When you are awarded Voc Rehab, they know what your service connection are and their job is to work with you on a field of study that will not Henderson you.
