Iu For Meneires

Rate this question

Question

In Dec 2014 I put in a claim for IU due to lack of being able to work because of meneires disaese. I am rated at 30% for this with sleep apnea at 50%. I have obtained a primary physicians letter stating that the disease has prevented me from gainful employment to include sedetary work.

What are the chances of this getting approved?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

No to IU. I am 5 years on the claim. Just completed DRO Hearing. I am going at 100% on the vertigo.

I think you have a good chance getting IU ,with P & T.

have you been in Voc Rehab? a letter from the counselor in your favor that your not feasible to retrain because of your SC disability or similar would help!

& Georgiapapa is right on the private ENT are specialist and they carry a lot of credibility with the VA

Thanks Buck,

No, I'm not in voc rehab. I'm currently 70% for menieres and sleep apnea/ planter fasciitis. I'm hoping they allow me to have a C&P exam so I can see a VA ENT specialist so I can get a possible higher rating. If Meneieres episodes are happening more than once a week with vertigo, the rating is 100% and that is my dilemma now. Hopeful to hear something soon.
