nlualum82
This morning I have a message from my PCP. I went to log on to read it but I keep getting a warning that it is not secure, invalid security certificate... I have often had that and often not. Is it common to many of you? Is it a problem with a Samsung tablet? A flaw in the software for myhealthevet? Maybe even a real threat that someone is stealing my password? HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted May 5, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted May 5, 2015 Usually the problem is VA has not updated the security Certificate. If you have been using the site it probably is ok Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.
HadIt.com Elder Chuck75 Posted May 5, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted May 5, 2015 It's a problem with not a few government and other web sites. You usually can, with a bit of fiddling around, change things when and if you trust a particular website. The why and wherefore is a bit complicated as to why this happens. One of the many causes is listed here, or you might do a web search on the phrase "not secure, invalid security certificate" for others. http://www.lockergnome.com/windows/2005/04/06/how-do-i-fix-invalid-or-expired-security-certificate-errors. Notorious Kelly
I have to accept security certificate a couple times every login to eBenefits- I don't think it's a security threat you're encountering.
