fmfdoc Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 I went on Ebenefits to see where my claim is at and noticed I am now 90%!! WOW! I was granted 50% for SA and noticed the EFFECTIVE DATE IS 02/06/2012. Does that mean back pay or am I not seeing the VA logic? rootbeer22 Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) fmfdoc: I know....I was involved in a Tank Main Gun Explosion in 1985 but that was before soldiers were aware of TBI. I have not put in a claim for it but have all of the classic symptons of moderate TBI. Also, I did not want to complicate my claim much further for my first claim so I'm waiting to file that contention until after my FDC is done and I ge the final outcome...for me...the waiting is really tough at this point, but everyone goes thru it and I'm not alone... I think the blast affected my OSA as well but I will not know officially until I get the results of my claim? Not sleeping well really sucks....
