Sad News, A Sailor Died Today. Our Brother Stretch Has Passed Away

Sad news, a sailor died today. Our brother Stretch has passed away. The details will follow. Stretch has been on hadit.com so long even I don't remember when he joined, before 2005 that's for sure.

Stretch so believed in our mission that he dedicated endless hours of his own time reading the forum and answering questions where he could. He also volunteered and was the sole technical expert for our podcast and he volunteered his time freely because of him we have archives of the podcasts back to 2010.

Michele, thank you for being the great daughter that you were to your dad.! He was very proud of you !

Jerrel told me he had been baptized before he passed away and this is WONDERFUL and it is never too late.

I was baptized 2 years ago and I am a senior citizen like your did was.....

The photo of him in his profile page here is sure very nice,....... a young nice looking sailor, serving the great US of A.

The last time we talked was just before one of the radio shows, and although he was not feeling well, he still did the technical work

for the show and had it looping here soon after, for anyone who missed the live broadcast....

I know how difficult this time is for your mom and the family.

Your dad had a life to rejoice over and helped so many here.

We sure miss him too!

His posts are still here and all of those shows too.

I Truly enjoyed visiting with your Dad I loved the way he thought about things and he said what was on his mind I never got to meet your Dad in person but just getting to know him here on hadit I could tell we would have become great friends,

Stretch was my kind of people.

Everyone That knew him is at a lost & empty feeling here at hadit and Sadden by his death , its never eazy for anyone when they lose a loved one and best friend, just remember all the wonderful times with him and the things he taught you your life will go on and your memories will be forever until you guys meet on the other side.
