my gut has been crap ever since i went over and was on lariam.  lovely stuff. 

I have never been diagnosed with any gut stuff though, so i havent ever filed for it.

keep us updated on this thread of any developments with your case for comp due to lariam

I think that's why IBS is an assumptive.  So many different exposures for us equals highly elevated cases of 'bubble-gut'.  I had stomach issues in OIF, too, but it became a permanent fixture in my life after the Bangladesh trip.  I had a colonoscopy 2 months ago, one small polyp and internal hemorrhoids, nothing they saw that was causing the constant issues (thankfully!) so I guess it is bentyl and OTC until they have something better.

i havent gotten looked at for IBS or anything.  been putting it off.  I guess i need to do it since the presumptive for GW is coming to an end

I would...heck I did, mostly bc you want to make sure it is not anything more serious.  I was under and there was really nothing to it once I got there.  It is the stuff they make you drink the night before which is bad.  If you get thru that, the procedure is a breeze.
