It was a RO decision. MY PFT was good after an hour of huffing and puffing. The MRI did not show Asbestos in the lower areas of the lungs where it is suposedly always found. My condition was determined as Emphesema due to its upper lung location. Went for a second Lung scan and was told the same thing. Therefore I guess the original diagnosis was incorrect. BTY I have 6.5L lung capacity.

I was at Mare Island while you were stationed onbaord HALIBUT and PARCHE. I was a crane operator supervisor and was in the 'OE' program. I also remember the SEAWOLF was part of the program.

Well, its good to see somone from good ole Mare Island. Too bad you are having the problems.

By the way, remember that famous bar there in Vallejo?

You need to try to get a good IMO from a Pulmonary Specialist or Dr Bash. He can look at your tests and make his own diagnosis. In the meantime, APPEAL. Ask for a DRO Review.
