Question

Hi everyone.  It's been a while since I've had a claim close (prior to this one), and I can't remember how long it takes the BBE to show up after a claim is complete.  My compensation claim closed on 6/27. Shouldn't I have the BBE by now?

Thanks.

Probably not. There was a holiday in the middle of that. Ive had notification letters usually in about 2 weeks, but I live in the same city as the RO.

My claim closed on 23 June and I received the decision letter on 27 June.  I guess it depends on the RO and how motivated the employees are.

I know a veteran whom had a C&P exam in early February; however he has yet to receive a decision letter.

I had a C'n'P a couple months ago, was thinking I was pending further CnP's however they can go off treatments records from assigned VA clinic. Earliest I can expect a BBE is  possibly within this next month but I'm not holding my breath, I filed a WHILE ago, and my claim is dwindling to the late stages, but only because I got to see into something "most" vets don't get to. (Thanks VSO!)
