63Charlie
I asked for a copy of my C-file. St. Louis sent a copy expeditiously to me. My complaint is that the C-file sent to me is missing an important C&P ankle/feet exam done by QTC three months ago. How do I get a copy of this exam? Why wouldn't the VA provide a copy of this important information? Is witholding records something the VA does if a decision has not yet been reached on a claim? 0 HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted October 11, 2016 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 11, 2016 Contrated out C&P such as QTC are not in your Myhealthvet Notes. You can get a copy from your local VBA (Veterans Benefits Administration) you will need to sign in sign their form of release and print on it your name claim# and the information you want...either your last C&P Exam or the date of the C&P Exam you want. Unfortunately Yes the VA Does lose Records/Gets them mixed up with other veterans ect,,ec,, the whole 9 yards. So for nothing is done about it....you get this C&P Exam make extra copy's and send a copy to the claims intake center request they put it in your C-File. (with return sign receipt) JMO .................................Buck

0 63Charlie
Someone in a blog had mentioned that the VA won't release the C&P exam until AFTER the claim decision is rendered. Not sure if this is fact.
0 Oceanbound
63Charlie, How did you get your c-file faster? I called the 1-800 number to about the c-file and they couldn't give me an answer. However they did tell me word for word, as in the letter I received 3 weeks ago, on the claim I am claiming for. Why is the c-file such a mystery black hole? 0 jamescripps2
If your C&P was actually preformed by the local VAMC you can get the result after three business days from ebenefits or from ROI at the VAMC. If your C&P was farmed out to be preformed by QTC your results will not be available to you until after the claim is decided.
