byjomat
Pittsburgh RO told me I can't file a "Motion to Advance Docket" until I receive BVA's denial? Is this correct? Doesn't make sense...defeats the purpose of the "Motion"?
0 Hammer46
Your appeal is at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, waiting to be sent to a Veterans Law Judge. Staff at the Board will make sure your case is complete, accurate, and ready to be decided by a judge. How long until a judge is ready for your appeal? Your appeal is Advanced on the Docket. This could be because you are older than 75, because you are suffering a serious illness or are in financial distress, or for other sufficient cause. Advanced on the Docket appeals are prioritized so that they’re always at the front of the line. Your appeal will be sent to a judge as soon as it’s ready for their review. 0 jfrei
No timeframe gotta love that answer it’s even better when you ask 1800 people or call the board directly they’ll say you’ll know sooner then later. I had mine advanced and it was about 2 months later until I had the decision in my hand which seems forever but in the present system in 2016 lightning fast...
