Decision made but back to gathering of evidence?

Hey all,

 

So my claim looks like it made a decision this past week. 

 

Ebenefits updated my disabilities showing my claimed disabilities but my claim has moved from preparation for notification back to gathering of evidence, but it also says decision letter sent. Is this just a glitch? I'm assuming they will close out my claim in the following weeks?

Wanted to give everyone an update. 

 

The long wait ended up with higher ratings for me. 

 

I was at 50% before I started this claim. In the middle of the claim I moved to 60% adding tinnitus and shrapnel pain. My claim just finished at 80% total. My PTSD rating was raised which I am pleased the issue is acknowledged and rated where I think it needs to be. They also gave me a rating for for range of motion lost because of my shrapnel wound. 

 

I need to go see the DAV and put in for my foot now that was crushed when I was in a Humvee accident. I'm not sure how to list the claim as. It makes me limp on walks and does not feel good when walking distance and aches pretty good with weather changes.

My claim has been all over the place in the past few weeks. 

My claim also involved a higher/different rating for a previous approved claim. 

Don’t assume anything, could be any number of things.

Just relax, take a breath, and wait for more facts.

Had the same thing happen but it was I filed a new claim the VA closed the new claim and sent the disability to the l older claim back into gathering of evidence for the new disability under the older claim…..but the decision was sent and the burn pit disability show on my disability list
