SC % For Pain in Body Parts

Question

Hi everyone,

I see a lot of posts where people post things like:  0% lower back pain, 10% shoulder pain, etc.

Is there an actual diagnosis for pain or are they referring to arthritis? I was seen and diagnosed for chronic pain during service but was never diagnosed as arthritis or any specific condition.

Should I even claim these? It was just mysterious random pains treated with Ibuprofen.

“What this ruling means is that if a physician cannot diagnose the cause of the pain the veteran is experiencing, but the pain is related to an event, injury, or disease that occurred during the veteran’s military service, the veteran should now win disability benefits,”

They now say I have degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis and a few others. For the first nearly twenty years all I got was the shoulder shrug or the chiropractors telling me I need to keep coming back.
