Question

So my family is eligible for Medicare in May of 2019 and they have ChampVA now. My question is do I have to start paying for Medicare B to have them keep ChampVA?

I’ve Medicare part A but, have FERS Health Benefits (NALC) too.  My family have NALC and ChampVA but, aren’t covered by my Medicare.  ChampVA stated to the wife that I didn’t need to pay for Medicare part B.  I’m under the notion that’s due to my NALC Healthcare coverage.  I recommend you contact the SSA and ask them.  You could also contact Champva with the same question.
