mclevela726
It may have been longer, but sure didn't feel like it. Not sure how to feel about it, though! Was through QTC. Anyone else have dealings with this company in Augusta, GA?
0 Navy4life
No but I had two negative CnP exams recently that were less than 5 minutes as well in florida at QTC. I am not confident of the outcome.
0 paulstrgn
I have had several C&Ps with QTC in Virginia and they have always lasted 15 - 20 minutes. I would suggest calling the 800 VA number and let them know that the C&P lasted only 5 minutes. I would think if the rating was low or even 0 I would use the length of exam as a reconsideration or appeal. I have called the QTC 800 number when I once had a doctor who performed a C&P on me and that he was very rough with the exam (he was an orthopedic doctor), I told them that the doctor did not listen to me when he was hurting my back by him forcing my moves (I had to tell him to stop). I have had several C&P by QTC and LHI and have been able to tell them when they try to schedule me with a certain doctor that I don't want to see that particular one (the orthopedic doctor and a different doctor who would not listen to me) that I do not wish to see them and they have always sent me to a different doctor. I hope you get a favorable rating from your exam.
0 Navy4life
https://www.knowva.ebenefits.va.gov/system/templates/selfservice/va_ssnew/help/customer/locale/en-US/portal/554400000001018/content/554400000015812/M21-1,-Part-III,-Subpart-iv,-Chapter-3,-Section-D---Examination-Reports#3a I would also look at M21-1, Part III, Subpart iv, Chapter 3, Section D of the above. I am thinking both of us had inadequate exams based on the length of the exam and I know that my C&P exam is not completely filled out after reviewing it. Both exams were inadequate in my opinion. 0 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted December 20, 2018 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 20, 2018 I guess it would depend on the disability. Some of the DBQ's are really brief.
0 Carl the Engineer
Most of the information to fill out the DBQ is in your medical records already. I have had a few that were quite brief. To look at and measure a single scar would not take long. Now, with that said, I have had an C&P examiner just about give me a physical at one of my C&P exams, so there is that. Bottom line is you don't know what you don't know. You need to wait for the rating to see what's what. The examiner could have had it all done and just wanted to look at a couple things, and confirm what you are claiming. I think to deny, the examiner would have to spend more time to counter what you provided for your claim. FWIW, Hamslice
