It will show up as a claim even though its a higher level review in ebenefits.

I am not an attorney or an a credited VA rep. These are my personal opinions and experiences, always remember what worked for me may not work for you.

You as the veteran are your own best advocate and no one knows your disabilities better than you. It is highly recommended that you as the veteran research and verify that any opinion given meets your specific situation.

I submitted mine last month. It took a couple of weeks to show up on both ebenefits and va.gov. However, when I tried to initially open it on ebenefits, it said that I needed to go over to va.gov. Once there, I was able to view the status.

I stand corrected, mine only showed up in VA.gov...sorry for the mistake.

Did yours say processing times was 4 - 5 months? Under the old system (which I have one pending) it say 23 - 24 months.

@paulstrgn Initially, it said the estimated date of completion was sometime in March 2020. I normally check the status on Fridays, but am actually kind of glad I checked it today. Here's what it shows:

I'm actually quite impressed with the change. That's a huge difference in turnaround time.

The fact that the change occurred yesterday and the estimated completion date is only just a couple of weeks away is kind of like receiving a non-monetary birthday present from the VA. Just hope they see the obvious and grant both issues.
