Question

Hi, my VSO said I'll need to go outside the VA for my medical opinion. I've tried all my VA doctors and they denied filing anything out for a service connection case. Does anyone know of doctors in NH that will listen and help? I only have VA doctors. Puts me in a pretty tough spot. Thank you

El Train, Do you have prior workings with this place?

Sure do.  Had to go to OKC for the exam.  If you go this route, follow their application guidelines or they might not see you.  I put together a three ring binder separated by tabs for each condition I was claiming.  It was well organized with pertinent info. only.  Not a lot of extra non sense.  Past C&P exams and treatment records, etc.  I even sent a nice written letter on why I am a good candidate to be seen.  A cover letter so to speak.  Well worth it.

If you are not working, you can file for SSDI and use one of their specialist medical opinions or you can call them or you can call one of your local lawyers that deal with SSDI claim and ask them for a local doctor that do IMOs/IMEs (INDEPENDENT MEDICAL OPINONS/INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EXAMS). The differences in the opinions are the doctor would/will review your records both in-service and post-service and give his/her medical opinion and the other is that after an exam the doctor would than give his/her medical opinion stating that he/she has examined you and your records to give their opinion.
