I just filed for high blood pressure due to AO exposure.  We will see how fast they can act since all my records are at the VA hospital.

I am currently 100% Agent Orange disabled veteran for prostate cancer.

I was diagnosed and treated for high blood pressure in 1974 at the VA Wadsworth hospital in West Los Angeles (seven years after my discharge from active duty). Since then I have been treated continually for high blood pressure by private physicians in several different states. Interestingly, the VA hospital cannot find my medical records from my treatment in 1974.

Should I file now for a disability rating for high blood pressure? Will there be a problem because the VA hospital in Los Angeles can't find my treatment records?

Max, You may need assist from a paid professional VSO found at VA hospitals and VA VBM Regional offices.  They are supposed to know how to dig deep for this info and answer your question.  They also charge nothing for their services.  The DAV, VFW, Legion, AMVETS, VVA, etc VSOs are most located at the regional offices along with some state and county VSOs.  You may already know this. Good luck

My comment is not legal advice as I am not a lawyer, paralegal or VSO.
