0 Moderator brokensoldier244th Posted February 16, 2023 Moderator Share Posted February 16, 2023 You'd have to contact VA. They should have mailed you something unless it was COLA increase. That would just be your prior amount x the cola percentage plus any dependents or extra smc you might have. The Earth is degenerating these days. Corder #1842 US Navy Veteran If you do not have a va.gov log in ID you may have to go to a VA facility to set it up to get your letters downloaded. Otherwise, you just have to wait for Dejoy's US Mail. Looking at the amount of your increase, it is more than the 8.7% COLA increase, so some small additional amount is involved. No idea what that could be. Looks like it could be a travel payment but that should show up as a separate item on your bank transactions.

If your rating percentage changed, the VA typically sends out a notification letter within ten (10) business days. After the ten (10) business days, veterans can call the 1 (800) 827-1000 National Call Center and request an email copy of the latest decision, or you can go to va.gov to pull up the latest benefits verification letter/proof on income letter. You can also check ebenefits and check on disabilities to check your current disability ratings. My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions. Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up. I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.
0 HadIt.com Elder Lemuel Posted February 16, 2023 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted February 16, 2023 (edited) Pacman has the better answer. You can get anything you are missing by calling the 1 800 827 1000 number. The rep takes a long wait to get but it is worth while if you do not have online va.gov access.
