Yes there is some kind of board with the head dentist and other's that has to approved you at the local VA Hospital for implants. I would be interested in knowing what they tell you. about yours. I have a real bad gage reflex that doesn't allow me to where dentures. I have upper's that I cant use and that was as far as I got. You will be in the dentist's chair for a while. There is a lot of surgery involved. I have had three implants but not from the VA. My experience with VA dental is pretty bad.
