Have you filed your NOD yet? If so, what Appeal Route did you choose, DRO or BVA?

I thought you said you were PTSD SC 70%, what was the Denial For?

Do you need a VSO-rep, not really.  Doing Claims and Increases on your E-Ben account is pretty straight forward. Just scan & attach your evidence as pdf's, you're good to go with an FDC.

It is a good idea to maintain a relationship with One of the VSO's just for reference purposes. They have much more access to your Claims and Appeal information via their computers than you do.

If you're within driving distance of your VARO, visit the VSO offices, usually on the same floor as the RO. Find one that is Open and Staffed Mon thru Fri. Have a sit-down with the MFIC, explain your discontent with your current VSO and request to change representation.

Expect some push-back from the New VSO but stay firm.  Ask him to review your Denial for recommendations.

Make sure the RO also has a copy of the revoked POA.Get a proof of mailing when you send the revocations.
