   I can't get in today. I think I read where someone said they 'update' on weekends. so hopefully that is the case.

3. Back Pay?

   Does anyone know about how long after your Claim Closes you can expect the back pay check.? My Claim closed monday. I am guessing the monthly deposit will start the first of next month.

4. Claim Brokered?

   Good morning everyone, hope your Sunday is off to a great start. I'm not sure what to think about this situation. I reopened issues last March 2013, my claim is in Roanoke, Virginia. I check e-benefits on a regular basis for status updates. I watched the file progress moving from the various phases up to pending decision approval status last Thursday March 7th. Low and behold when I checked the site again it shows that my claim has been moved back to "gathering evidence". It's been a year and I know it takes time, I'm not rushing the claim process because I want them to make the "RIGHT" decision with respect to my disabilities. Has anyone ever seen their file move…

5. ptsd Claim Finally Moved!

   My claim for Tinnittus, and Ptsd finally moved today. It went from gathering evidence to Prep for a Decision. I had C&P on February 18. I saw the tinnitus report and that looks good, and late last night I saw ptsd report, and that looked good as well. Im trying to figure out how to print just the ptsd report and not the whole file. I hope it doesnt take another 3 months to move to the next step, so I will get a big book and start reading!! I need to stay busy and not get stressed out waiting. Patience is not one of my virtues!! 6. Form On Ebefits, To "tell My Side"?

   I was told there is a form that is used to tell your side of the story on your beneifits claim. I imagine it's available elsewhere too. I have dug around quite a bit over there, and found nothing. Anybody know what this form is called? Where it is on Ebenefits?

7. ptsd Fdc Ebenefits Questions

   Hello All! I'm new here but have been following many of the posts here and have received very valuable information. I submitted a FDC for PTSD on 10/28/13. My claim finally moved to the Gathering Evidence phase in Ebenefits on 2/11/14 and I uplaoded the requested evidence. On 2/24/14 I noticed an extra box at the bottom that reads "What Do We Still Need From Others" the 'items' and 'from' fields are blank but there is a requested date (2/24/14) and due date (3/26/14) listed. Does anybody have any idea what this means? Could this possible be for a C&P exam as I have not been scheduled for one yet. Thanks for any feedback.

8. Claim Moved Foraward

   I checked this morning and I am now at Pending Decision Approval. Now that I am getting close I am starting to REALLY get nervous. Any idea how long it might take to finish up? If it all goes smoothly of course. Ebennies calls this the 'Rating Phase'..

9. Ebennnies Has Gone Crazy

   So...Currently rated 90% My claim has went from Prep for decision to gathering evidence. Called my VSO, he stated they were finishing up an appeal which is causing my Ebeenies to screw up. I just got an appeal finished up, it didn't change the rating, and got the SOC in the mail. I still have a DRO pending from last year. But the DRO appeal has no movement via Ebennifits While talking to my VSO he said my claim is going to be reviewed for rating next week, and everything should be fine. I trust the guy he has done nothing but good things for me. Then late Friday, I checked Ebenfits and I had this. Any idea what this means? I have only been rated for about 3 yea…

10. My Husband Needs Help

    my husband is manic depressive, he is in the mental ward in augusta ga. he just called me saying he is afraid for his life. he told on 2 people who done him wrong 3 years ago when he was sucisadial. he called me crying. i dont know if he is coming off the manic eposide, or he has the right to be scared. im afraid for him. he wanted me to get ahold of ms vicki and maybe she could call him. i am sorry but i heard yhe panic in his voice. .

11. Anybody Have This Happen To Them?

    I was doing my daily scan through e-benefits about a month ago and suddenly all my open claims dissapeared.It showed no open claims.I called the VA and was told that the claims were closed but that my appeal was intact.The claims that were supposed to still be open were for IU;Tinnitus;Hearing Loss and bruxism.Upon further investigation I discovered that a request was sent to the VA to close all claims sent from my VSO in Phoenix.Having given them POA I was told it didn't require my signature.The NSO representing me at the time was someone I didn't get along with and had several verbal confrontations.He was transferred to Philadelphia but left a trail of carnage in his w…

12. Claim Moved

    Yesterday I was at 'Gathering Evidence'. I just checked Today and I am now at Preparation for Decision. Totally skipped 'Review of Evidence'. This is the most progress I have had since I started March 2013 with an FDC. The claim was changed to a regular claim when they asked for more Evidence a couple months ago. Hopes are UP but not too much!

13. Interesting Turn Of Events

    Ebennies did not show that I snail mailed the 'Required Evidence' even after 3 weeks. Sooo..just for fun I 'uploaded them into Ebennies, low and behold the status changed in less than 3 days. So I went back in and uploaded everything I had so now I know it is in the damn file. It seems there is a disconnect between the regular mail and the E-file process so we need to use both? I say why not?
