Carlie
I filed my 14.633 complaint in October and never read this before at the OGC site or the Federal Register site: VA Published Accreditation Regulations On October 12, 2007, VA published in the Federal Register final rule AM29, Accreditation of Service Organization Representatives and Agents, amending 38 C.F.R. §§ 14.629 and 14.633. The final rule will: (1) require veterans service organizations (VSO) to periodically recertify the qualifications of accredited representatives; (2) require VSOs to notify VA's Office of the General Counsel when a VSO's request to cancel a representative's accreditation is based on misconduct or lack of competence; and, (3) add procedur…

ptsd 'in Waiting' For Sc Increase, Tdiu And Ssdi
All three, SC increase, ssdi and tdiu are submitted. Am very worried about it all. Mostly I am very concerend about what actually constitutes 'employment' for tdiu, only been doing temp jobs here and there, annually far under gainful ceiling. Meanwhile I'm not sure what counts exactly, monthly or annual earnings. Pretty stressed here, I have been out of work for years, mdd (ptsd w/mst). Filing for comp on other ohysical issues soon too. Hoping for the best in the coming New Year for each one here at Hadit.cg

Travel Board Hearing
Recieved a letter today stating my Travel Board hearing has been scheduled for Feb.5th 08 at the Waco office.I requested this hearing 9/03 and it finally happenes after more than 4 years.I am hoping we don't have icey roads then as it is a 3 1/2 hour drive for me.Very nervous but anxious to finally get this over with.I feel that I have more than enough evidence on my side but we are dealing with a very adversarial VA.If by chance I still fail to convince them I will go ahead with a lawyer as the SO I now have has proven to be useless.

800# Status
The 800 number here in Buffalo VARO seems to be a bit off today- You click one then Zero and they say it is invalid response-and the menu only says 5 choices and none of them are for claims status- but if you hang on long enough they transfer you to a claims counselor- I was surprised to hear an old 800# recording today instead of the new one.??? They said my claim has ending date of Dec 30. (Gee ----he didnt say what year ) And that the DRO has to do something and then it is ready to rate. What surprised me is that a third DRO now has my main claim. I sure am glad I ordered another IMO-# 4-but I realised the brief freeby IMO I got -I think I could have …

800#
When I called the 800# on Dec 18th they told me my files were back with the DRO. When I called today the lady had me on hold for about 1 min and a half, she came back on and said my appeal was in final decision and that I should be hearing something soon. She said all my medical evidence had been reviewed ( two c&ps and new statement from corpman from Nam) so I hope to get some news soon. Semper Fi everything stays the same until it changes.

ptsd Need Help With Nod For Ptsd
This is a followup to my previous post from December. I am currently at 40% ( 30% back, 30% PTSD ). I had an appointment to C&P that was initiated by the VA back in November to reevaluate my PTSD. At the appointment with the DR., he stated that my symptoms has worsen and my rating my change. Supriseingly, the VRO decided quickly ( 30 days ) with a rating of " UNCHANGED ", thus no increase or decrease. They stated that I never bothered to get help since 2004 ( try getting the dam appointment ) and I seem to be doing OK because I am working ( my 3rd job in the past 12 months, being once a professional and now a clerk ). My symptoms are destroying my life and all fibers …

Living The Claim
Listen, I am giving a piece of advice here. I understand many veterans find something that is 'wrong' with them, but if you are 100% P&T I would advise against living the claim. Let it be. Let yourself work on your health. One of my friends have said a good metaphor about this....."It's like poking a bear with a stick"-Hadit member (formerly) Jay Johnson. Your asking for the VA to re-investigate your claims. If you are 100 % PT, don't start making all kinds of different claims right away. Think about it this way and I hate to say it this way. What if the person at the VA Claims office, just got in a fight with his wife, slept in the car, back is hurting, an…

Blue Water Ao Vets
This has been a subject of concern at the BWNVVA web site- John Rossie has had input from Rick Spaturo (NVLSP) on this and this blog link suggests what our approach should be if any of us respond to the proposed revision. http://vnvets.blogspot.com/2007/12/importn...-about-vas.html Some of the public comments have been very negative I am sure- but this blog post explains why the revision would be needed anyhow- anticipating the Haas decision.

I Can't Get Out Of This Va Maze?
Hi to all and trust all had a Wonderful Christmas, Now, I am back to business of the VA. I am totally confused. This is what happened. I knew that the AMC was sending me a denial. I received a telephone call from one of the Superviors. I ask her about this addendum. November 2007 Examining Provider: L.L. Lehmann, MD Examined on : November 16, 2007 Examining Results: The c-file, including personnel records, Dr. Payne's letters of 4/5/04, 1/23/06, 4/28/06, and 10/9/07, and Dr. B. Campion letter of 5/10/2005, was made available to the examiners and was reviewed. The current request involves consideration of letters by Dr. B. Campion and…
