Purple Hearts
My husband received 3 purple hearts and 2 bronze stars, 1 with Valor while serving in Vietnam. Along with the certificates for the award of bronze star, he has citations telling what the bronze stars are for. He also has copies of the orders. For all 3 of his purple hearts, all he has is the certificate and copies of the orders - there is no citation explaining what the purple heart was awarded for. I stated to them that the e…

What Is The Best Course Of Action?
I got the exam findings for my C & P and don't agree with the findings. This Dr. didn't due what other doctors do when I am examined by a specialist. Also there was a problem with one of my x-rays when thery couldn't move the machine low enough for a shot. I was told to stand on some phone books! It was a new facility and a special bench platform was not there. So do I wait for the decision on my Recon and assuming it is unfavorable request a new C&P? Or should I tell the RO the problems and request a new C & P before I get the decision? God forbid that they would use the info from my VA and private Dr's! If I get a SSOC, I suppose I could brin…
