tdiu Sending The Va Copy Or Original, Does It Matter?
Ok, this is probably a stupid question, but Ill ask anyways because I will sit here and drive myself crazy after sending a copy. My Dr wrote me a letter saying that I am unemployable. I picked it up today. I sent in my TDIU app last week and am going to send this in to join up with it. Should I send in the original or is a copy ok? I would not send in original med records but this letter is addressed to the VA and Im not sure if they would want the original with the original signature on it? Like I said, probably a stupid question but I dont want to have to worry myself about my decision. Thanks.

Champva
I am having trouble getting ChampVA to pay a bill to a pathologist. I had the same trouble with BC/BS for the same provider. My wife had to use them when she went into the hospital for an emergency. ChampVA says the medical procedure codes are wrong and won't pay. The provider billed ChampVA directly. This is such bs and when I call ChampVA I can't get through because of a 30 minute wait. The provider is running me around as well. I see there is a appeal process with ChampVA but what would my appeal be based on? I think ChampVA is just trying to stiff us on this bill. I think I will go see my congresswoman Monday. The provider gave them an itemized bill and they…

"Dear Readers, The Veterans Court decision in Haas v Nicholson which allowed those who earned the Vietnam Service medal off shore South Vietnam during the Vietnam War, to receive the presumption of exposure to agent orange. Which is currently being appealed by the VA to the Federal Circuit, has not been decided yet. And according to the Blue Water Navy website it will be March 2, 2007 before the briefs are filed." SEE: "VA Granted Another Extension In Filing Their Brief On February 20, 2007, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a motion for an enlargement of time of nine days within which to file their brief. The primary reason cited was for the DOJ…

ptsd Proof Needed To Claim Mother As Dependent
What documents or proof is accepted by the VA in order to claim Mother as a dependent. My buddy just got his brown envelope yesterday---70% service connected for PTSD---effective date of October 05. He supports his Mother and provides room and board. What is the process?

Dmii & Other Problems
Because I am SC DMII, and my VA NP prescribes for high bp and cholesterol, is this another claim that I should submit? I have a BP machine at home and they are in the116/71 - 138/75 range over the last year. As a diabetic, I am held to a lower ideal BP than others. The same is true for cholesterol. My BP at a urology consult Jan 3 was 182/124. I do know that it tends to be higher at most any Dr. appt. I appreciate the information I have recieved from this site. I does make me put the "old" grey matterr to work!!! Thanks, Ed

Just Got The C&p Report!
Just got the C&P report of my son's of 2/2/07. This C&P was done with the Charleston Va, Not sure if this was even done by a DR as i don't see [DR] anywhere on the report. Any way his impression was [1] Appendix Cancer it is less tha 50% likely that it was caused by or a result of exposure to Benxene and other solvents in his Military Service. [2] Polycythemia Vera is less tha 50% likely that it was caused by exposure to Benzene and other solvents in his Military. It is at least 50% likely that his Polycythemia Vera or a precursor thereof was present to some extent at the time of his discarge from the service. He went on to say that my son has no current symp…

ptsd Personality Disorder Versus Anxiety
I have emailed Dr. Bash, he wants me to wait until the decision from the Appeals Management Center comes in and then contact him, if it is a negative. Dr. Bash gave me a special heading for the email, as he said he knew of a psychiatrist that would do the IMO. I did as Terry advised, I sent him a copy of each of the two C&P's. Alrighty, after that dumb personality C&P, I did see a psychiatrist. No personality disorder detected. This is what he said, I cannot say with any certainty after 42 years if Mrs. XXXX anxiety began in service , but it is very possible that she suffered PTSD from the fear of death in the swimming pool, very rare, but does happe…

Update On My C&p
Just a short update. Yesterday, I recieved my copy of the C&P exam from ROI office as requested. To my surprise, the examing doctor agreed with my complaints about increasing PN in both feet, including the problem with my fingers. I truly thought that by his demeanor, I would be found wrong. Now I wait to hear from the VARO. Ed
