diabetes Diabetes
Hi, Does anyone know how long you can have diabetes before it surfaces as full blown diabetes? Reason....My husband had a heart attack in 1996 at the age of 39. He had to have a quadruple by-pass. At that time he was not dianosed with diabetes. Fast forward to now...His cardiologist(which he has had from the beginning) says he thinks his heart disease was due to Diabetes. Thanks, sbrewer

My #1 Tip For Working Your Claim
My #1 Tip for working your claim is Be Honest, tell them the truth about your problems don't try and suck it up and be strong. I recently met a few veterans, one told me he didn't want the VA to see him as weak, but you know if you are weak that's the kind of stuff they need to know. I met another guy who was just all bs, was going to bs his way thru his c & p and get a "nice check" as he said, geez, as if the wait wasn't long enough for deserving veterans. this just pisses me off to no end. sorry to vent.

Greetings, I spoke to to VARO reps and they both told me the same thing and it is sounds impossible. I just received an addtional 70% for new cliams and and 1 from increase. They told me that this new award that they backdated to 18 months ago doesn't matter and I will not be paid addtional comp. I am currently rated at 100% T&P with 50% SMC According to the SMC guides I am nowear near the maxium of comp in regards to smc. I informed her , "You are telling me that the past 18 months was in vein? and paying for 2 IMO's doesn't matter? I am in total amazement and I don't know what or which way to turn.
