Got The Dreaded Vcaa Letter And
Read through the VCAA letter and form and just as I suspected, For a claim for reconsideration, it reads more like a new claim to reopen with new and material evidence. Weather permitting, I am going into see my DVA Rep and give him an ear full and I may well pull his POA if I don't hear what I want to. I plan to ask for a personal hearing with the Rating Officer to get one question answered and their too, if I don't get the answer I am looking for, I am withdrawing my claim for reconsideration and having my CUE claim reinstated. If they won't fix their mistakes, I will certainly try my best, to do it for them. I think they just want to play around with me and…

diabetes Cialis
I believe from what I received today that four 20mg cialis pills are condidered a 90 day supply from the VA. This is absolute bullshit. Where do we protest this? It is an embarassing subject and I think the VA is counting on vets keeping quite about it. I have service-connected diabetes and also negative side effects from narcotics and anti-depressants. We deserve better. There is a treatment for out disorder and we are being denied on account of the cost.

Called Va. Rep Said My Claim Is In A Post Group. Any One Heard Of This ?
Greetings , I contacted the 800V A line today and a rep siad, "my appeal (adaptive housing grant) and all my claims for increases have been moved to a post group after the DRO had made his decision" I have never heard of a post group in my 9 years in dealing with the VA. Is this something new? Has anyone else heard of this? Thank you and God bless you all Bound4heaven

Varo 800#
My Varo has been asking for date of birth, address, and today they asked me for my SSA # too. Many of them know me but they ask anyhow- The vet rep I got today knows me but still he asked all this- and told me that people have been calling the 800# in this area of NY and trying to get VARO information on vet's claims or by pretending to be the vet, themselves. So dont be alarmed if the 800# people ask you for some identifying info, more than they used too. It is to protect your records and you claim. My Status was 'at rating board'-SMC Cue claim.Nada new info on the other claim.

Request Dro Or Not Request Dro?
Hello everyone, I'm asking for your help in deciding if I should request a DRO review or the traditional appeal route for my claim of Clear and Unmistakable Error. The original RO failed to consider evidence and failed to consider the rating criteria in the light most favorable to the veteran (which they're required to do when the DC is ambiguous). Original Decision copied directly from general practitioner's MEB that closed out Dec 01... 1) "It was determined that everything surgically possible had been done to correct your condition"and 2) "biofeedback appears to have helped decrease the frequency" but did not note ANY results from most current exam (Ja…

Another Delay
I wondered which delay tactic they were repeating this time. (Got another 'thin' letter) "We are allowing you more time to submitt new and material evidence." All We wanted to know was when is the BVA going to satisfy the Court remand and articulate the reasons and basis? Are they still trying to make me believe that nobody at the VA can read? I still have no claims that require more proof. All of my claims are still open. My file belongs with the the BVA and certainly not with the RO. I could only find one instance where a writ of Mandamus was actually granted. And it did not involve the VA. The next one granted could be mine and it will fall on the VA! …

Va Support Contacts?
I am looking for somebody of authority to register my concerns about the deminishing care that the Dayton Ohio VA Hospital is experiencing. As an example I went to the Urgent Care on Monday morning at 845 a.m. for a back injury. I signed in and waited until 12:30 p.m. before I finally gave up and left. I was told that it would be a couple more hours. I am diabetic and needed to eat. I returned on Wednesday this time at 7:45 a.m. and even though there was not near the crowd there was only one doctor treating patients and it took until 9:30 to get in to see a physician. In the last few months everyone is complaining. The nurses say they don't have enough help to …

hypertension Hypertension
I am rated for tinnitus 10%, loss of hearing 0% and MDD at 50%, (claimed as post traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorder and night sweats). My question is on the high blood pressure. First a little history; in 1962 while in the service I had the pleasure of spending some time in the Trippler mental hospital with some very serious problems. When I got out of the service I ran like hell away from the service just as fast as I could. Not knowing I could receive any help from the VA. In my service files there is no B/P checks of any kind. While in the hospital the service gave me Librium without knowing what my B/P was. My point is I want to file a claim for hypertension an…
