Question

The veteran i am helping is 70% service connected for PTSD and he was medically retired in July of 2006 because of ptsd and filed for Unemployability in March of 2007. My Question is,if he is granted individual unemployability, what would be the effect date or his retro pay,July of 2006 when he was medically retire, of March of 2007 when he filed for IU ?

UPDATE: The veteran claim was granted, back to August 1 2006,the date he was medically retired. He wishes to thank everyone on hadit for there help, because there was a lot of input from the people at hadit to help in getting his claim granted.

This is GREAT News Mobie and I always believe a claim might well need more then one pair of eyes on it.

That is one big problem with vet reps-they don't collaborate on claims. And some are too proud ( or convinced of their omniscence) that they don't ask other reps for some input with difficult claims.
