Chuck - most likely very true - but this is a way the vet can try to grease the wheel a bit, at least a tool worth giving a try in a situation if they are having difficulty obtaining medical care in a timely manner. jmho Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That aside, triage is supposedly the determining factor, along with first come first served, and available internal resources. In the past, fee paid service was difficult to obtain via my local VAMC.
