My friend said that the DAV gave him a forum to give to the doctor to fill out after the stress and said the doctor didn't write to much on the forum he said the DAV got it and sent it in. If they need more information will the DAV write to the doctor or the va? I told my friend aways to make copies of records,he can't remember what was written down.I think if it wasn't enough information the DAV would of told them.

You said that if the stent unblocked the artery he should still get sc,will they still give him a percentage for it

He gave dd 214 to the DAV,He 69 not working and not on ssdi getting ss.if the stent is helping and showing no blockage,will he still get sc and what percentage do you think he will get

My friend was in Vietnam and has heart problems and he had 90% blockage and they put a stent in.back in 97.Last year I told him to put a claim in for AO,he did but could not get his old records.The DAV told him to get another stress test so he did and get the results and send it in.He said the stent help with the blockage,will the DAV write to the doctor if they need anymore information.I know when you have heart problems it does not go away.The DAV said it will take awhile to get his claim process ,do you think he has a chance to get sc and a percentage for his claim

He is going to file for CAD but I am wondering about this,he found out about having CAD about 8 to 10 years ago and had a stent put in.Will this be a problem when he files next week for CAD? He didn't know that he could of file ,years ago for this problem,I told him to file. thank you all, for all the information, that you sent.

when he goes to the DAV and file, can the DAV get his records from the cardiologist ?

My friend is a vn vet (68-69) and has CAD and had a stent put in with 95% blockage at the time.He hasn't been to a doctor for a couple of years because of the cost of treatment. Can he file for disability (A0)) for it and what are his chances of getting it? (percentage) I told him to go to the DAV and file,will they get his medical records from his doctor?

What are the price of the rooms and are they in anchorage,kodiak island and Fairbanks,that is where I want to go.

I talk to a guy,who just got into the va health system and he said that he is going to get free hearing aids and glasses from the va.He said he does not get any disability fro the va.I thought you had to be at 20% dsability rating to get that.Also,can someone tell me who to contact (phone number) to make reservations to stay at a military post in Alaska,planning to go to Kodiak island,anchorage and Fairbanks Alaska.I am 100% pt and heard that I can pay a fee to stay at these bases.

I see that you are 100% ,I think you should get your dental work free,from the va,someone here will know the answer to this.

I agree with the rating maybe I am saying it wrong, the only thing I am concern about is the wording they wrote down about me decideding to retire instead,nothing else.Maybe I am worrying about nothing.

I understand what you are saying,I am 100% PT, what I am concern about is what they printed on paper about me that I was offer work in another town,(but decided to retire instead.) I am probably worrying about nothing,like the dav rep said,don,t worry about it.

apply for tdiu and cad,got rated for cad and not for tdiu because my told disabilities came to 100%

Recently I receive my rating and came across a statement in my papers that isn't right.It deals with my past employment.It said that I was offer work,but decided to retire instead I think they misunstood me,because I agree to work,but my back was hurting and they decided to put me on retirement. The Dav rep told me not to worry about it,what should I do?

I put in for cad and tdiu,I got denied for tdiu but got sc for cad,at 30%. They said individual unemployability is moot as your sc disabilities now have a combined evaluation of 100% pt schedular. Can you tell me what this adds up to.... 50,50,30,30,20,20,20,10 % Also it doesn't say anything about no future exams,wonder why,Will they still send a letter to me to fill out every year? I want to thank everyone on this site for all the good information that I got,thanks again.
