  1. I'm waiting on a TDIU case to be determined. I logged on to ebenefits today and noticed that the VA had sent 21-4192 letters to 2 old employers with a due date of 4/14/15.

What happens on the "due date" if no action is taken by the employer and they don't send it in?

I haven't seen much on the 21-4192 and I'd like to know more about the process.

  2. I have. It was late and I noticed I had not checked on my claim status in months. I checked on the status and my claim still had not moved. I clicked on that option and the next week I was in for all of my C&P examinations. 4 weeks later my rating came back on eBenefits as being 100% I/U (90% total). I'm not sure if it was because I clicked on the tab or if it was because it had already been a year since first submitting the claim. It could be one, the other, or both perhaps. I personally had no new information to report to the VARO so I didn't feel as if I had anything to lose.

You and I are the only 2 people I know of who have hit the button and we both received positive results in terms of getting C&P exams scheduled straight away. It maybe too early to tell, but I'm hesitantly optimistic about this new feature.

  3. This is why VA Is s joke...instead of providing an option to say that the veteran has provided all documents and to go forward with the claim. You have to wait 30 days for this time to elapse.. What a joke.. To speed up the process maybe you can upload a short letter saying that all in formation is in VA's hands and maybe they can close your case once they receive the letter.

What's funny is I actually did hit the new "go button" and then I got this notice about 3 weeks later.
