  1. Hi DickC, congratulations on your win!!

The second part means that they will review your condition in 12 months. The judge believes that if you receive the correct medical treatment that your condition can improve, so unfortunately the journey is not over. They will most likely request your medical records from your doctors and they may request an exam by a SS doctor. It means that they don't consider you permanently disabled. I'm not sure if they could change it to disable with no review or not. I know that they can request reviews every 12 months, 3 years, or 5-7 years, and some say no improvement expected.

  2. Hi everyone,

I was just wondering has anyone else received a letter from the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Securiy at the Deparment of Veterans Affairs(VA)? All the letter states is that my personally identifiable information was at risk of being viewed or possibly viewed by other Veterans, Servicemen or dependents. It states that on January 15,2014, during a process to improve software supporting the joint VA and DOD benefits protal(Ebenefits), VA discovered a software defect. On that day, 1,643 Veterans, Servicemen and dependents that registered and logged into eBenefits were able to see a combination of their own information as well as data from other eBenefits users.... Yada Yada Yada!!

It does not tell me how much of my information was accessed or even if it was accessed. This is the most non-descript bull.... I have ever read!! They don't admit any fault, wrongdoing, or regret. I just want to know who had access to my information and what did they see!!

They are just notifying me so that I may choose to take appropriate steps, (including those discussed below), to protet yourself against identity theft. Then they offer Free Credit Monitoring and tell me I can get my Free Annual Credit Report. Suggest Fraud Alert....etc...

  3. Update!

I just got off the phone with my VSO. He is able to look on the VA system on current status, and it states that the Waco RO has requested that the VAs fill out DBQs on my conditions that I am seeking increases for. The VAs have until 4/1/14 to return these back to Waco. So, hopefully I don't need C&Ps as all my treatment is at the VA. Maybe my claim is finally moving. As I have said my VSO has too much faith in the VA, as he said that FDC would be done in 4 months, yeah right. It has been over 5 months and my claim is just beginning to move. My VSO said that if my claim somehow was bumped out of FDC and converted to Traditional claim then I should receive a letter from VA soon stating that. If I don't receive a letter from the VA by the end of the month, then I will take it as my claim is still being treated as an FDC. Pray for me guys, as I do every morning and night for you guys.

Navy04 I was wondering....did your VSO say that Waco was requesting an IMO or an examination? .... I'm wondering because I called 1 800 827-1000 and was told that Waco sent a request for an IMO out on the 4th and the 5th. What is strange is that I received an envelope in the mail today that was dated December 20, 2013 but it was post marked February 4th I received this exact same letter in December!!
