    I have my initial C+P on July 31, do they normally give psych tests like MMPI or is it just an interview? Nervous here folks.

    A year ago I filed an initial claim for PTSD through DAV and the VA says DOD can't find my Military Service Record (I requested one and have no response). I'm just disgusted with the whole process. Pathetic.

    I think 1 hour 20 minutes is a relatively short exam.

    Sounds like you will get service-connection. Also sounds like you are doing relatively well. Hope things improve with your son.

    I did file with EEOC. I'm talking to my social worker at the VA tomorrow, then I'll decide about a lawyer. Interesting thing is I felt the best I've felt in a long time today. I'm finally standing up for myself.

    My boss had me escorted off my job by the police because "he was concerned" about my PTSD. He interviewed several people about if I talked about guns, the military and if they were scared of me. He told people at the same time that I was faking PTSD to get VA disability. I got my job back because HR told him it was illegal to fire me for having PTSD. I hate being labeled a malingerer what can I do?

    My boss had the police escort me off the property. He told my union rep I was escorted off because of his concerns about my PTSD. I got my job back but I am forbidden from talking about the military or PTSD.

    I am having a problem with Trazodone. I don't sleep anymore than I used to but I am groggy but get agitated on it at the same time. I have to take a Lorazepam with it (which my Psychiatrist said I can only take short term). Any other sleep meds the VA uses?
