No one responded but I will share what happened. My full retro is available in my bank currently and ebenefits does not show the payment made as of yet.

I can't really say that I have had a large number of victories with my fight with the VA. However, I have to give credit when credit is due. Even though I am fighting the VA on the bogus ratings and denials I received, my mighty enemy had made a possibility come true. On Veteran's Day, this disabled vet will close on his first home purchase using a VA Home Loan. It does make me happy and sad, but mostly happy and elated for this to be a reality. It's bitter sweet, but I have to give the VA its kudos. VA home loans is a great benefit.

Hello, and welcome to hadit! I'm suprised no one has posted yet, but here's what i've seen so far and in the past. You can't go by what you read on e-benifits period!!! The dates that they enter are just estimates, and from what i've learned, are entered when they get a chance and they are never right. The VA has been known to make mistakes before so expect more and if none happens be glad. My claim is in it's 16th month and is still in the gathering evidence phase so sit back and be prepared for a long wait. As for the letter stating if they need more evidence they will contact you, that to my understanding is what was closed. As far as the other request, make sure a copy of the records were sent.

Also keep checking your direct deposit account for your retro. I received my retro in my account before I received my official notification.
